Jean Grey begins to develop incredible powers that corrupt and turn her into a Dark Phoenix. Now the X-Men will have to decide if the life of a team member is worth more than all the people living in the world.
Review:
Being a huge fan of the X-Men cartoon back in the 90’s I’m always excited when a new X-Men movie comes out.
A part of me was a bit annoyed that they was going over a storyline they have done before as there are loads of cool storylines to choose but I was still looking forward to seeing it and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed with it.
This felt just like one of the old X-Men cartoons it has a solid story and some great action scenes. It is movie of a story based movie with just some cool action thrown in now and then but it works well.
I thought the way they only showed the true form of the baddies for a split second was a bit poor and I’d of liked to see them more but this is just me being picky.
Overall it was everything I was hoping it would be.
Verdict:
Definitely one for the original cartoon fans
