The Flash
This was hard for me to watch and review, I love Zack Snyder’s vision and the world he built with the amazing characters he cast, watching more of his vision on the big screen was so good yet deep down I knew the movie is there to reset the awesome vision and move on to something that will never live up to the greatness Zack started.
The movie is really good with a great storyline, awesome action, sad in places and very funny throughout. Super girl absolutely smashed her role. it was so good to see Michael Keaton play Batman once more and if I’m honest watching the original the night before, he is a much better Batman now… BUT he is still nowhere near the GOAT Ben Affleck, it was so great to see him as Batman and Bruce once more even if his new suit is a bit dodgy.
Ezra Miller is perfect as the Flash and having two of him on screen only makes it funnier, there is a bit in the Batwing when he turns to the side that is still making me belly laugh 4 days later.
Overall it’s a wicked film with loads of hidden gems. It’s definitely worth watching but unfortunately with the path James Gunns DC is going the story reset something that was perfect and headed down a route that will never be what could have been.
