About the movie:
Robert McCall serves an unflinching justice for the exploited and oppressed, but how far will he go when that is someone he loves?
Overall:
The Equalizer is an amazing movie so the second film had some big boots to fill unfortunately The Equalizer 2 turned up with some size 6 feet and tried to fit them into a size 10 boot.
For me it has lost what the first movie had and tried to be more like a ‘Taken’ movie. It had moments when it was really good but then seem to become very slow and lose its train of thought leaving a story i’ve 20 times in the last couple of years.
Denzel is Denzel and gives a solid performance as always but in this case he could only save a little girl and not the poor storyline.
Verdict: Good, but that’s it.
