Movie review on the film The Amityville Horror streaming on Netflix – 2018

If I’m honest I thought I’d seen this but couldn’t remember much about it so in the mood for a horror I thought I’d give it a go.
This seems to be one on many films based on the true story in Amityville, I’d of liked the opening scenes to go into more detail about what actually happened on that disturbing night, I didn’t like the use of flashing lights when telling the story.
Ryan Reynolds is consistently great in all he’s roles, I was impressed with the other cast members but the one that stole the show for me was a very young Chloe Grace Moretz.
With a great creepy true story opening and a solid cast this was an enjoyable horror movie, I’d of like to see a bit more killing and gore leading up to the end but and all round good watch,
