This is my review on Babs streaming on Netflix 2018

No.37 Home (Netflix)

This is a true story based on Barbra Windsor’s life story, growing up watching carry on films and showing an interest in the British gangster scene Babs was always popping up or popping out depending on which carry on film I see.

As movies about true stories go this is now one of my favorite, I loved the way it tells the story almost like a Scrooge style story on her looking at her own life.

Some great acting from some talented British actors but the one that stole the show for me was Samantha Spiro with her uncanny resemblance to Barbra Windsor she absolutely nail that role.

I absolutely loved how they filmed this, it was like reading an autobiography but seeing it on screen, the way the story bounces through her life telling her story was one of the best I’ve ever seen, I was hooked from start to finish.

This really is worth a watch
