This is my review on the movie IT Chapter Two 2019

No. 33 Cinema

About:
Twenty-seven years after their first encounter with the terrifying Pennywise, the Losers Club have grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call brings them back.

Review:
IT’s hard being a horror fan as you have to watch a HELL of a lot of really bad movies until you find a good one, well the last IT movie set a very high benchmark and some massive clown boots to fill…. And man did they fill them.
This movie had me hooked from beginning to the end and the whole time I had a huge smile on my face as I know what I was watching was pure horror gold.
Pennywise’s on screen presence is perfect and extremely creepy, there must of been 5-6 times I was creeped out or actually a little scared and at one point the hairs on my neck and arms stood up.
They absolutely nailed each character casting as they genuinely looked like older versions of the kids from the first movie.
There is plenty of blood and gore with some laugh out loud moments.
One of the best movies I’ve seen this year and can’t wait to watch IT again.

Verdict:
A horror masterpiece

Review:
5/5

End credits:
No

Fun facts:
Bill Hader was unaware that Bill Skarsgård can actually move his eyes in two different directions. Hader asked Skarsgård what kind of editing was done to achieve the effect in the first movie. Skarsgård, in full costume and makeup, responded by saying “Oh, you mean this?” and doing it, causing Hader to freak out.

A license plate on the wall above the owner of the antiques shop is “CQB 241” the same as the license plate in Christine (1983). The owner also asks for $300 for the bike, the same amount that George LeBay initially offers to sell the car for.
