This is my review on the movie Sacrilege (2020)

No.10 Cinema

About:
Four lifelong friends head to a remote lodge for a weekend of fun. What begins as an idyllic retreat quickly descends into a fight for their lives when a local Pagan cult offer them up to their Goddess as a sacrifice for the Solstice.

Review:
Didn’t know anything about this before watching it but I like horror movies and looking at the poster it looked like the cast was easy on the eyes so I thought what’s the worse that could happen… Well just like them Dr pepper adverts this film gets worse and worse as the 1 hour and 23 minute running time ticks away.
There was a couple of ok moments mainly the hot women but even them were a bit to giggly for me.
Don’t get me wrong you quickly see this is a low budget movie so I switch my movie brain to low budget movie mode but that still didn’t help and this was a terrible attempt of a horror.
As an indie film maker myself I try to find the good in movies especially low budget ones but I can’t help think given the opportunity to what these film companies have how much of a kickass film I’d make.

Verdict:
It’s 1 hour and 23 minutes you will never get back
