Movie Review For The Post Available On Blu-ray 2018

This is my review on  movie The Post

No.72 Home

About the movie:

A cover-up that spanned four U.S. Presidents pushed the country’s first female newspaper publisher and a hard-driving editor to join an unprecedented battle between the press and the government.

Overall:

I don’t no if I didn’t like it or I just didn’t get what was going on, after 45 minuets I was looking at the screen thinking what on earth is going on, apart from thinking wow that is a massive photocopier hasn’t technically come on a long way. I’m not an idiot I know it was about important documents and the US government covering up their mistakes (again) but as a film it didn’t grab me and pull me into the movie experience and found It a bit on the boring side.

I’m not gonna lie the acting was really good and it was filmed really well as you’d expect from Steven Spielberg.

Verdict: not something I’d watch again

Review: 2/5

Fun facts: In scenes involving the Pentagon Papers, Daniel Ellsberg’s original documents were used as props, including the pages that were scattered over the floor of Benjamin C. Bradlee (Tom Hanks’) home.

If you like this you may like: All the money in the world, Molly’s Game, Zero Dark Thirty.
