Movie Review For TAU Showing On Netflix 2018

This is my review on TAU movie

No.66 Home (Netflix)

About the movie:

A woman is held captive by a scientist in a futuristic smart house, and hopes to escape by reasoning with the Artificial Intelligence that controls the house.

Overall:

Didn’t know anything about this movie before watching it only that it appeared on Netflix and looked like it could be good.

Always good to see Maika Monroe in a movie as she has become the Thriller Queen of Hollywood.

The colours of the movie set the scenes perfectly and pulls you into each and every minute. It has great pace and an interesting story (even if it did remind me of the Simpsons episode where Pierce Brosnan vices the AI house). Some awesome tension and cool CGI. I really enjoyed this and it kept me sucked in to the movie excellent right until the end.

Verdict: Great watch

Review: 4/5

Fun facts: TAU – While it possibly refers to “Tau” of the Greek Alphabet, it is possible to just be an acronym of Alex’s full name. Thomas Alexander Upton, as shown on the framed magazine covers or In ancient times, “tau” (the 19th letter of the Greek alphabet) was used as a symbol for life, which sheds light on why this name for the AI might’ve been chosen.
