This is my review on Paper Man also known as Unlikely Hero (2009)

No.94 Home

About:
A coming-of-middle-age comedy that chronicles the unlikely friendship between failed author Richard Dunne and a Long Island teen who teaches him a thing or two about growing up, all under the disapproving eye of his long-suffering wife and his imaginary Superhero friend.

Review:
Every now and then a movie pops up that for some reason I’d never heard of, with a star studded cast and a great storyline I was surprised this wasn’t a mainstream film.
I was recommended watching this film by a friend so not wanting to let them down I sat and watched it half-heartedly with my son who is a huge Ryan Reynolds fan, within 10 minutes I have to say I was hooked the storyline had grabbed me and I was watching in ore as this clever, fun but sad story unravelled.
This is one of them feel good movies that leaves you with a warm fuzzy glow inside knowing you’ve just seen something special and the message the storyline was telling has left an impact on you.

Verdict:
A must watch feel good movie

Review:
4/5

Yes

Fun facts:
This is the 2nd movie in which Jeff Daniels plays a character with the last name Dunn. In Dumb and Dumber (1994) he plays Harry Dunne.
